Genevieve McHoes
Founding Director

Genevieve McHoes, MEd, MSc, is an independent consultant, teacher, and professional development coach for educators, with over twenty years of experience.

With Master's degrees in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Maryland (USA), and Educational Leadership from the University of Leicester (UK), she serves as a school accreditation visitior for the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), and an external Assessor for the Women's Leadership Development Program at the University of Oxford - Saïd Business School.

After many years as a high school history and philosophy teacher, she founded her own consulting business in 2019, offering pedagogical support for independent schools across Europe and around the world. A bilingual workshop leader and examiner for the International Baccalaureate Organization, she has led teacher trainings in over 15 countries, building a wealth of knowledge and insights about international school systems.

As Laurier Education continues to expand, she currently wears several hats, including director of Laurier Education, development director for Luma Education, and adjunct lecturer in Communications and Public Speaking at the prestigious Institut Polytechnique (ENSTA, ENSAE and the Ecole Polytechnique) in Palaiseau, France.

She is available worldwide, online and in-person, for staff development training, pedagogical consulting, leadership coaching, and other education management services.
